I've finally finished mapping out my route.  I've almost got all my gear. I'm finding myself more anxious than ever, but in an excited way. I would leave tomorrow if I had everything I needed. Just want to get going already.

Hey,
Check out Discoverytrail.org for state books with turn by turn directions, milage, way points and gps files. I worked out a 15-20 mile/day rate, plotted it in my state book, which coordinates to a position on a map. As you continue plotting, the route takes shape.

Hope this helps.
